- To quote the 12th tradition of Alcoholics Anonymous:
- Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions…
My name is Adam, I’m a co-founder of Ethical Rehab Marketing and for the time being, I’m going to remain anonymous; I lost over a decade of my life struggling with substance abuse and I fear the stigma of being publicly open with that fact.
Why We Started Ethical Rehab Marketing
Steve and I started Ethical Rehab Marketing because there is an obvious need for it.
And by need, I don’t just mean that there is demand, I mean there is a genuine need.
- People struggling with addiction need treatment.
- Drug treatment centers need patients.
What Makes Us Marketing Experts?
Steve and I have over 20 years combined experience in search marketing.
Steve has over a decade of experience in SEO; I have over a decade of experience with PPC.
In 2014, we met through our work for a local advertising agency and quickly became friends and collaborators.
What Makes Us Drug Treatment Experts?
I have been through more behavioral healthcare treatments than I care to recount…inpatient, outpatient, detox, MAT, counseling, groups, psychiatry (the correct psychiatric diagnosis and treatment is what allowed me to move past my addiction).
Jails, Institutions and Death…
Well, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad
I started working in internet marketing while I was in a halfway house following a drug conviction.
Initially, I started my own business as a way of avoiding background checks (it’s been long enough now that background checks are no longer a concern), but because of my analytical nature I really took to digital marketing and analytics.
During my addiction, I went through multiple treatments for chemical dependency, both 12-Step based and MAT based.
Since that time I have stayed abreast of advancements in the treatment of addiction due to an interest in psycho-pharmacology.
I have first-hand experience with behavioral healthcare for addiction but I also have an interest in subject.
What We Look For In Drug Treatment Centers
We work with organizations that help people.
Our callers are looking for treatment for drug addicition. This includes inpatient, outpatient, detox, residential, sober living, medication-assisted treatment, dual-diagnosis, insured, self-pay, medicaid/medicare, etc.
The more of these inquiries you can assist, the more we want to work with you!
We strongly prefer evidence-based treatment approaches that
leave no stone unturned.
We understand that outcomes are difficult to measure but we favor treatment centers that try to measure outcomes, and then improve those outcomes.
